The Subject Property

This bathroom was in need of a gut and remodel. The homeowner was also interested in upgrading of all plumbing and electrical for greater efficiency and adding additional outlet for convenience. Regency would also remove and repair the damaged subfloor. The tile and wallboard from tub area and main floors were replaced. This home is located in a newer subdivision with many updated features, but there was much room for improvement. Regency opened small sections of ceiling as needed for replacement of exhaust fan, which operated at a much lower volume while adding light to the room.

End Result

The hallway bathroom was remodeled in a very modern and updated fashion. The old tile floors and tub walls were replaced with sleek Daltile Florentine tile. A 6” Daltile stone decorative accent was added to give the shower a special touch of elegance. The old tub with black water spots was replaced with a very clean MAAX soaking tub fitted with polished chrome Kohler faucet and showerheads. The vanity was given a complete makeover by swapping out the old, wooden cabinetry that did not allow for much storage with new, more modern cabinetry fitted with polished chrome handles to match the polished chrome Kohler lavatory faucets. The new Venetian gold granite counter tops with Kohler under mounted sinks help to convey a very modern and updated look. The old, very large mirror and medicine cabinets were replaced with mirrors with wooden borders to match the cabinetry. The vanity lights needed to be replaced as well. Regency brought in a bronze light fixture, which matched very well with the counter top and polished chrome finishes. The bathroom was masterly converted to a modern and updated bathroom with increased efficiency that the homeowners will relish for a long time.
