The Subject Property
The residents of this home wanted to make some changes to their master bathroom. They wanted to maintain the same general color scheme was upgrading certain aspects to more modern and practical finishes. Demolition of the space consisted of removal of cabinetry, fixtures, tile floor, walls and ceiling down to the studs. New electrical wiring was installed for the three new recessed cans, which would be installed in order to make the space much brighter without the need for sconces. One of the customers’ main goals was to convert their old shower space into a larger and more modern space.
End Result
What a beautiful new space! This master bathroom was given a major modern upgrade in every sense of the word. Although the layout of the bathroom was not changed, the style was dramatically changed and the shower space was changed in a dramatic way. The most notable change when walking into the bathroom is the new shower area. The outdated standard tub was swapped out for a modern Napolina Honed Limestone finish, which was tastefully contrasted by the large Clio Mosaics accent that runs down the center of the shower. Keeping with the modern appearance of the shower, a chrome Raindance Hansgrohe showerhead and a chrome Crome Hansgrohe hand shower were installed to provide a luxurious showering experience. The color scheme of the bathroom was slightly changed by removing the preexisting floor tile and replacing it with a modern Forest Park Sugar Maple flooring. A darker Brookfield Oak cabinetry from KraftMaid was installed, which matches very well with the shower accent. Regency really did a great job making subtle changes in terms of style that really give this space an elegant and warm appeal that the space was missing. This is a great space and provides everything the owners were hoping for and will make them happy to use!
