The Subject Property
The homeowners were interested in changing the layout of their bathroom while also adding a contemporary appeal. The master bathroom contained a shower and a bathtub, which was not often used and taking up a lot of valuable space. The shower space was to be replaced with a larger toilet space and closet to increase storage space while the tub was removed and replaced with a large, modern shower. The preexisting bathroom was a very dark space, which the owners were getting tired of. The desired change was a modern upgrade while brightening up the bathroom and increasing the practicality of the space.
End Result
The bathroom was completely transformed from a dark and somber space to a bright and inviting bathroom. This was accomplished by swapping the old floor with Daltile beige floor. The removal of the built-in tub that was taking up so much valuable space allowed for the installation of a beautiful shower finished with off-white walls and Hansgrohe showerheads, which provided added luxury and comfort to the user. Laticrete permacolor grout was used in the shower to ensure longevity of the shower and prevent water damage. Regency was highly successful in the conversion of a dark and impractical space to a bright, inviting master bathroom that is incredibly functional while providing modern splendors and amenities.
