For this Libertyville bathroom makeover, the homeowners wanted a practical bath with visual pop. Taking that for their cue, the designers at Regency Home Remodeling used the element of strong visual contrast to create a beautiful bathroom that was created in the promised time frame and within the owner’s budget.

Using a light color match for both floor and shower wall was a bold choice, achieved by using 6 x 36 Forest Park Sugar Maple floor tile and 6 x 24 Marble River Rapids shower wall tile. The blending colors present a pleasant line that moves the eye up to the shower’s coordinating glass tile accent stripe in Mosaic Frost Moka glass tile, all by Daltile. Accenting the elegant visual effect, Studio 41 provided Delta stainless plumbing fixtures, including the all-important grab bar for practical beauty. The light effect is carried over to the Americh bathtub and Kohler toilet, also from Studio 41.

To create a strong contrast, the cabinets selected were Studio 41’s Bertch Cherry Mocha vanity cabinets and matching mirror frames were strategically placed against a deep-toned blue-gray wall.
