With the walls gone, they also created a new barn door opening to set off the laundry, opening up a dated kitchen to be totally repurposed with to-the-ceiling Mocha Maple cabinet. The exciting new layout was the perfect space for Daltile to embellish with light-catching 3 x 6 RetroSpace backsplash tile in Succulent Green, and stunning countertops in G800 Thunder White Granite. Prosource of Elk Grove then provided a touch of whimsy with Bubble Series Moonstone tile for the backsplash behind the stove.

As a final touch to say “bye-bye old style,” Studio 41 provided the gleam of Brushed Satin Nickelin the cabinet hardware as well as the Delta sink faucet and soap dispenser. The result was a totally new kitchen, all bright and modern, to match the beautiful new bathroom, all created within the given budget and time frame. The owners were delighted with their dual makeover, making this Skokie home a total Regency homestead.
