Regency completely gutted the existing kitchen and updated all the mechanical features of the space. We selected white solid maple shaker style cabinets from J&K Cabinetry and added crown molding throughout. To accent the cabinets we selected a white and grey granite counter top which we extended to use as the backsplash. Granite is known for its hardness and acid resistant properties making it an ideal countertop surface. We added under cabinet lighting and installed chrome hardware and fixtures. We installed state of the art Bosch stainless steel appliances and a Zephyr industrial vent hood. We refinished the existing hardwood floors and used a custom espresso stain and sealed them using Bona water base finish. Finally we added a kitchen opening looking out into the spacious family room and added a counter overhang for seating.
