The owners of this Park Ridge home were ready to make some major changes to their kitchen. The existing kitchen had become boring and a hassle to this family, so they were interested in creating a kitchen that would be easy to get around, as well as a place where the family would enjoy spending time together. In order to give them the best results, the kitchen would need to be expanded, in addition to updating all other aspects; cabinets, countertops, flooring, lighting, appliances, etc. The main goal of this renovation was to fix the layout issue while upgrading the style and color scheme.

End Result

Regency did a phenomenal job renovating this kitchen. The most remarkable part of the remodel is the major expansion of the kitchen.  Prior to the renovation, the kitchen was small and a hassle to get around in, now, it is open, spacious, and will be a joy to cook in and spend time in. By demolishing the walls that separated the kitchen from the rest of the main floor, Regency was able to make the kitchen double in size and even install more cabinetry, countertops, and create a gorgeous island.

A modern appearance was achieved by the new color scheme- White Shaker Style cabinets give the kitchen as a whole a great deal of brightness as well as a clean and sleek look. For the countertops, Biscotti White Granite was used throughout, including on the island. The Kinetic Khaki Color Wave tiling used for the backsplash contrasts the countertops and cabinets with it’s darker appearance, thus being a striking aspect of the new kitchen. Samsung appliances were installed throughout the kitchen creating an even more elegant and luxurious atmosphere.

Regency went beyond the customers’ expectations by converting this space into a much larger, more modern, and gorgeous kitchen that will for sure be a pleasure to spend time in each and every day.
