Master Bath Remodel Lake Barrington

This spacious Lake Barrington master bath was large, but the design made it feel confining, and it cried out for some design love. Regency Home Remodeling heard the call and took up the gauntlet, providing design savvy and spatial know-how for a clean, modern look.

Perhaps most room-shrinking element was the wall between the bulky, enclosed tub and the vanity. By taking that wall down and freeing the tub, Regency could replace it with a modern Barclay Oswald 59” Acrylic Soaking tub from Studio 41, pairing that with a Barclay Lamar Polished Nickel Freestanding Filler and Delta Brilliance Polished Nickel fixtures. Another big space grab came by removing the tiny enclosed angle shower and replacing it with a modern, open shower space lined with 3 x 12 Italian Alps wall tile and contrasting Penny Round Waterfall shower floor and niche tile. The gleaming 12 x 24 Matte Ice main floor tile further visually expanded the space, along with the new Dove White vanity cabinets, topped with Daltile’s ONE Quartz counters in White Ice. Finally, an accent wall of timeless blue floral wallpaper now unites the sink and tub area. What was once a disjointed space is now an openwelcoming haven, thanks to Regency’s design wizards.
