Edgewater is a beautiful northern neighborhood of Chicago located right on Lake Michigan. Edgewater’s boundaries include Devon Avenue on the north, Ravenswood Avenue to the west, Foster Avenue to the south, and Lake Michigan to the east. Located only 7 miles from the Loop, Edgewater offers many benefits to living in the gorgeous neighborhood. Since the 1880s, Edgewater began to be a popular place for wealthy Chicago residents to enjoy their summers. With several beaches for people to spend their spring and summers and phenomenal lakefront views, it is clear why people would want to call Edgewater home.

The Subject Property

The owners of this lovely Edgewater home were ready to have Regency Home Remodeling make some major changes to their master bathroom. The existing bathroom had become old and out of date, so the customers wanted Regency to create a bathroom that was stylish and elegant. Additionally, they wanted the bathroom to be one whole area instead of the toilet and shower being in a separate room from the vanity. To make this possible, Regency would need to completely gut the existing bathroom, from the plumbing and electrical wiring, to the tiling and cabinets. The main goal of this renovation was to create a sleek bathroom that the customers would look forward to using each and everyday.

End Result

This bathroom looks incredible. Regency did a phenomenal job transforming this bathroom into a gorgeous new space that will be much for efficient and practical for the customers. The most notable change is the great new space. Regency demolished the wall that seperated the vanity room from the shower room in order to make it one whole area. Through the new color scheme and installations, an elegant and clean atmosphere was created. For the vanity, Regency used Espresso Maple cabinets with a Morning Frost Quartz countertop. For the floors, Volga Matte Aqua tiling was used for the main floor while Glossy Black Pebbles tiling was used for the shower floors and White Glass Subway tile was used for the walls.

Overall, Regency did a superb job renovating this bathroom into the bathroom the homeowners wished for. They went above and beyond the customers expectations and created a luxurious, stylish, and tasteful master bathroom that this couple will be able to enjoy for years and years to come.
