Jack & Jill Bathroom Long Grove

The Jack-and-Jill bathroom in this Long Grove home had outgrown its original style, so the homeowner contacted Regency Home Remodeling to bring it up to date. The basic structure was practical, a connecting bathroom that allowed joint use with separate privacy by the bedroom occupants. But the outdated components begged for a new look—a Regency look!

The space now has visual flow, thanks to Daltile’s Souvenir Gray Reminiscent field tile 12” x 24” floor tile throughout. The center section houses the shared area, where the old shower was replaced with an Underscore 60” alcove bathtub, surrounded by Daltile’s Marble Attache Lavish Field Tile and finished with Kohler chrome shower/tub fixtures. Both sides benefitted from stunning new white birch cabinets from Studio 41, with individual Caxton undermount sinks , topped with Daltile’s NQ91 Chipped Ice Quartz countertops and backsplashes, and repeated in the tub’s niche shelf. Verdera medicine cabinets provide storage, and matching Betello Comfort Height toilets complete the dual-bath makeover.Now the bedroom occupants can each maintain bathroom privacy, while also enjoying an elegant, comfortable shared area.
