About North Park, Chicago

This home is located in North Park, near the intersection of Kimball Ave and W Peterson Ave. North Park is a quiet Chicago neighborhood located just 9 miles northwest of the Loop. The first settlers came to North Park in 1855 and were of German and Swedish descent, but over time the population became mostly Swedish. The Swedish presence is still seen in North Park as the colors of North Park University are blue and gold and the mascot is a viking.  North Park is a great place to live as it has all the amenities of the city while having its own small town feel.

The Subject Property

The homeowner of this lovely Chicago property was ready to make some major changes to their hallway bathroom. The preexisting bathroom was no longer suitable for the customer and knew Regency Home Remodeling could create the bathroom of their dreams. One major issue with the bathroom was the very out of date color scheme. With the green wall tiling and pink bathtub, our customers vision was to fabricate a much more modern bathroom with an elegant and sleek feel. Additionally, Regency would install premium appliances to further update this bathroom.

End Result

Regency Home Remodeling successfully transformed this bathroom from a dated and boring bathroom to a beautiful and fashionable bathroom. The most noticeable change when walking into this bathroom is the new color scheme, which makes the bathroom look much cleaner and luxurious. The preexisting wall and shower tiling was removed and replaced with Carbon Elevare tile that gives this bathroom space a very clean appearance- this was used throughout the bathroom including the shower walls. Contrasting this dark look, Regency installed Blanc Linen Fabrique floor tiling that further achieves a modern appearance.

A sleek finish was possible by the installation of the white Kohler sink and bathtub. To match this, the walls were painted a lovely light gray that pulls together all of the new installations and truly gives this space a luxurious feel.
