Highland Park Master Bath Remodel

The owners of this Highland Park master bath needed a redo offering more functional space, but didn’t want to sacrifice a chic, polished sensibility. Thanks to Regency Home Remodeling’s clever designers and top-tier suppliers, they got an updated look that truly works for them, starting with a sophisticated gray color scheme that’s given a three-dimensional sense through the use of various tones and textures in tile by Daltile.

The look starts with the gorgeous 12 x 24 Florentine Carrara tile used on both the bathroom floor and shower walls. A touch of texture is accomplished by using the polished tile on the walls, while the floor is covered with the unpolished form—sensible to prevent slipping. The shower walls are then accented with Spectra Glass tile, giving a clean, modern look with a horizontal stripe as well as accenting the shower niche. The shower floor gains a strong, subtle look with 2 x 4 Skybridge 98 gray tile.

A stunning wall of Kraftmaid cherry wood cabinets provides an enviable amount of storage while creating a pleasing contrast. Daltile’s NQ75 Luminesce quartz covers the shower threshold and niche shelves, as well as the vanity top, where the dual sinks offer a surprising pop of turquoise color. The result is a bath with urban flair, created by Regency with care, within the promised time and budget.
