Hall Bath Remodel River North (Chicago)
The Subject Property
Without changing the footprint of this tiny Chicago hall bath, Regency Home Remodeling was able to give it a more open, modern feel, thanks to lots of experience and the help of such top-tier suppliers as Daltile and Studio 41.
First, Regency’s professional installers replaced the old, metal-rimmed glass shower walls and door with clean, modern to-the ceiling glass that opened up the small room for a spacious feel. The right materials make a huge difference, and Daltile supplied a stunning mix of tiles for floors and walls, starting with the delightful 8” Hex floor tile in white matte, and the coordinating Perpetuo Hex brilliant white matte 1” x 5” tile for the shower floor. The shower walls were then covered with Ottimo Madrid Marengo 5” x 14” tile to the ceiling, adding a handy niche of OQ27 Jasmine White with a shelf of OQ21 Kodiak. Matching tile was extended to the shower threshold and vanity countertop for true coordination. Next, the homeowner selected Kohler materials from Studio 41, including a Kelston toilet and Caxton undermount white sink, all accented with brushed nickel plumbing fixtures and accessories. This once-cramped bath now boasts a light, modern feel.
