This beautiful home is located in Avondale, which is a neighborhood located in northwest Chicago very close to Interstate-90. The Subject Property

The residents of this wonderful home were interested in building a bathroom and closet in their attic. There was no previous bathroom in the attic, so the job was to build a new bathroom from scratch. This would entail the demolition and removal of a wallboard from walls and ceilings in order to have enough space to build the new bathroom as well as the removal of a partition wall that had previously separated the bathroom into sections. Regency also installed new plumbing for the new vanity, shower, and toilet as well as new electrical for the lights that would be installed.

End Result

Regency did a spectacular job utilizing all the space they had in order to create an aesthetically appealing bathroom that also feels spacious to the user. The removal of the partition wall allowed for a large, modern shower to be installed. A warm color scheme was achieved with the installation of Florentine Niciolla flooring and walls from Daltile, which matched very well with the continental slate shower floors and coffee rockport vanity from Smart Cabinetry. A large, Santa Cecillia vanity top was installed in order to increase the practicality of the space by adding counter space. The bathroom appears very modern thanks to the up to date, premium fixtures such as the Hansgrohe hand shower and lavatory faucet as well as the sleek, white Adair toilet. The new bathroom in the Evans’ attic is aesthetically appealing in many ways with its elegant style and modern design and is sure to keep the residents comfortable for many years.
