Shower Remodel Mundelein

The second bathroom Regency Home Remodelers transformed in this Mundelein home offered a new challenge. Windowless, the bath needed a more open feeling, and thanks to Regency’s arrangements with top suppliers like Daltile, the challenge was met and exceeded.

Playing off Regency’s stone gray cabinets for the vanity and linen cabinet, Daltile’s high-end materials worked together to create a harmonious, sophisticated look. The redesigned shower was a big part of the new open feeling, with a glass door and a glass-topped half wall, with a white quartz shelf that cascaded down in a waterfall. The same quartz was also used for the shower’s clever corner shelves and shampoo niche ledge. The shower walls of 3 x 8 stacked tile were further accented by 2 x 2 MA 83 Nero tile, which was also used for the shower floor.

To further open up the bathroom, Tip Top Glass provided a custom mirror that stretched from the Daltile OQ03 Broadway Black quartz vanity top to the ceiling, visually doubling the space, and the 12 x 24 off-white floor tile from Daltile further opened up the area.
