The Subject Property

The homeowners were interested in making changes to the closet in the master bedroom as well as the master bathroom. Regency began this job with the removal of all cabinetry, flooring, fixtures, and walls around the tub area. The doors of the two closets were removed as well as the partition wall separating the two closet spaces. The purpose of this remodel was to spruce up the new bathroom area with modern designs and make the space more practical for use. The layout of the bathroom was to remain the same, but the closet would be changed more dramatically in terms of the layout. The closet was initially split into two, small separate closets with separate doors. The objective was to combine these two spaces into one big closet space to significantly increase storage space and enable access to the closet space via one big sliding door.

End Result

This bathroom was beautifully transformed from a mundane space into a stylish and more functional space. This bathroom was brought back to life with the rejuvenated and stylish new finishes. The most obvious changes when looking at the bathroom are the new tile and marble finishes. Three different tile finishes were installed along the floor in a herringbone pattern in order to create a modern and exciting style. These three finishes were Cloud Nine Antique White, Black, and Gray from M & S Imports; which match beautifully with the Cloud Nine Mosaics mix that was installed along the new shower floor. Along with the color and style changes, the standard bathtub was replaced with a large modern, tile floor shower equipped with a convenient shower bench. The shower walls were lined with Statuario wall tile, which adds to the bright appeal of the space. Keeping with the clean and sleek style of the new space, polished chrome appliances were installed from Kohler such as: Kelston lavatory faucet, Shift hand shower, and Moxie showerhead. This new bathroom space is very inviting and stylish. It is definitely a relaxing way to start the day with a spacious and luxurious shower.
The closets in the master bedroom were also dramatically changed in favor of a much larger and more practical closet. The removal of the partition wall separating the two closets enabled both closets to be combined into one, closet that has significantly more space. The customers’ enlisted Closet Works for their new Raffix White closet organizer. This greatly increased the storage space and enabled much more practical use of the space. The residents absolutely love their new bathroom and closet space and were very happy with the skillful work of Regency Home Remodeling!
