Deerfield Laundry Room Remodel

The laundry room is the workhouse of the home, yet so often it is neglected and poorly designed, making laundry more of a chore than is necessary. Regency Home Remodeling was called in by this Deerfield homeowner to transform their clunky, cluttered laundry room into one that is more practical and efficient, and the result is nothing short of miraculous.

To start, the narrow laundry hall included a pantry that devoured the space. Removing the pantry doors opened the possibilities, and Regency filled the area with practical, modern custom-made cubbies and bench that offer open spaces for storage of coats, boots, backpacks and all the paraphernalia that comes with family. Next, Regency’s white shaker cabinets were set and reconfigured above the washer and dryer, and a new Frankie stainless steel undermount sink and Grohe faucet from Studio 41 updated the old laundry tub. The long counter was set with Moongaze quartz countertops (supplied by Daltile and fabricated by Atlantis Granite and Quartz) also creating a shelf topping the washer and dryer and creating a smooth flow for more visual space. The floor was also updated, the old tile replaced by Rebel Hexagon Matte tile from Daltile, and a soft spash of green paint adds color and brightness to the room. The updated space is now a pleasant place that functions well for the entire family.
