This Schaumburg kitchen was firmly ensconced in the 90’s when Regency was called in to open it up and bring it into today. The result proved that just a few small changes can provide a lot of pow, and with Regency’s no-muss, no-fuss policy, the final project came in within the promised time and budget.

The biggest change came from opening up the walls between kitchen and dining area, creating a more visually spacious feel. The old, dated cabinets were replaced with Regency’s ceiling-high shaker cabinets in a gorgeous chestnut tone, including a new wall of glass-door cabinets with LED lighting inside and underneath to brighten up the work areas. The existing appliances were reinstalled, and the cabinets topped by an accent of stunning white OQ32 Niagara Quartz countertops. Part of the visual punch came with the choice of wall color—a very on-trend new green, complemented by a green glass tile backsplash in a trendy subway pattern.
