Tired of looking at the old builder’s grade cabinets and longing for a more spacious-feeling kitchen, this Norridge family asked Regency Home Remodeling to bring their tired kitchen up to date with new materials and a more edgy outlook. Regency was happy to comply, thanks to top professional installers and excellent materials from on-the-ball suppliers

First the flat, boring cabinets were removed and replaced with KraftMaid Lyndale Maple cabinets in a stylish, new-again natural finish. The light, fresh wood color was happily balanced with a coordinating vinyl flooring from Home Depot, adding a lookalike wood grain in a slightly deeper tone. To further lighten the room, Daltile supplied NQ91 Chipped Ice quartz countertops to encircle the work area and add a sassy brightness. Studio 41 then supplied a very chic Sterling McAllister Undermount Sink, with a super-smart Grohe sink faucet and soap dispenser. With some new lighting and white-framed over-sink window, the kitchen now seems larger, and is certainly more welcoming for both family and visitors.
