Deerfield Kitchen Remodel

This Deerfield kitchen suffered from a common design problem—a peninsula style in a small space that forced a visually closed-in feeling with too little usable work area. Fortunately, the clever designers at Regency Home Remodeling saw a way to increase counter area while opening up the kitchen for a refreshed new feeling.

The area was opened up by replacing the peninsula with a long, modern island. The kitchen immediately felt more spacious, aided by KraftMaid cabinets in a fresh new Maple Avery Natural finish that blended with the new Riverside Glen Hickory Smooth engineered hardwood flooring from Floor & Décor. The new Washington Quartz countertops from Daltile were expertly fabricated by Atlantis Granite and Quartz, offering beauty as well as more work area. ABT then supplied the modern appliances, including a Frigidaire 30” induction cooktop conveniently located above the Single Electrical wall oven, with a stylish Broan Elite hood above. A Sharp Convection Microwave drawer oven found its home in the new island, making for a most efficient use of space. Final touches included a stunning contrasting backsplash of Odonata Blue Streaks tile from Daltile, with a Frankie undermount sink and Kohler matte black faucet, both from Studio 41. And voila! The new, open and stylish kitchen is ready for action!
