The Subject Property
The homeowners were eager to change the layout of the first floor of their home by updating the flooring, cabinetry, appliances, and furnishings while increasing the use they would be able to get out of the space. The kitchen was very large with cabinetry and appliances spread along walls with a large and awkward space in the middle that was not often used. Regency planned to increase the functionality of the room by creating space for a dining room adjacent to the kitchen, while increasing the effective use of the kitchen as well. A hurdle in completing this job was the damaged floor and base of the floor. Regency fixed the subfloor and installed new hardwood flooring, leveling off any inconsistencies in the heavily damaged floors.
The entire first floor of this now updated home was transformed from a darker, outdated finish to a bright and incredibly functional space. The preexisting kitchen was large, but did not have much counter space and all appliances were inconveniently spread around the room. Regency compartmentalized the room by moving the appliances closer together and finishing the kitchen off by adding a large, beautiful island. The island and kitchen countertops were topped of with Daltile Ocean Tide granite finish. The old, wood-finished appliances were replaced with modern stainless steel appliances such as: Bosch dishwasher and Oven, Samsung refrigerator, and GE microwave. A gorgeous KraftMaid Avery bookshelf was placed in the dining room for added style. Two fireplaces were also brilliantly redone and refinished with bright and unique touches. The result of the work completed by Regency greatly increased to ability for the residents to effectively use the space in their home while enjoying the comfort of the elegant and luxurious living space.
