Arlington Heights is located 25 miles northwest of Chicago. The project address is a single-family home in a quiet subdivision. The neighborhood has parks; sidewalks and an upbeat downtown are with shops and restaurants. Arlington Heights is a neighbor to Schaumburg, Wheeling, Buffalo Grove and Palatine.

The project was a kitchen remodel. The client wanted to update the look and to increase the room size of the exiting kitchen. The desired outcome was a larger more efficient kitchen that completely changed the look of the entire Arlington Heights home.

Summary

Regency went to work and designed a brand new kitchen layout that included removing an existing wall that divided the kitchen and the dining room and installing a new custom kitchen with a large kitchen island. Regency also removed an existing exterior door and added more counter space and a new kitchen window that allowed for natural light. New bamboo Hardwood flooring was installed to match the existing flooring. Custom maple cabinets were installed; including 36’ upper cabinets the finished project was a highly functional new space with rich dark wood cabinets and a beautiful granite counter top to compete the look.
