Regency began by removing the dark overhead cabinets, relocating the space to the wider island of KraftMaid’s national finish cabinets in Putnam Maple, topped with the latest quartz countertops in Valor White from Atlantis Granite & Quartz, set over the new Franke stainless steel undermount sink from Studio 41. The wall across from the sink now houses a new KitchenAid Bottom Mount refrigerator and induction cooktop, the latter set beneath a stylish Elica Aria exhaust hood, all from ABT. The Valor White quartz also tops that counter and continues up for a full backsplash that pleases the eye and draws both spaces together. Then, utilizing the area behind the kitchen wall, Regency created an exciting new custom pantry, complete with ABT’s Samsung Convertible upright freezer, for the ultimate in storage solutions. The result is a kitchen with the convenience of a galley but with a modern feel open to the rest of the house.
