The homeowners of this Park Ridge home were ready to update their kitchen. While keeping the same floor plan, they wanted to change everything from their cabinets and countertops to their appliances and color scheme.
The customers were dying to give their kitchen a modern makeover. The style and color scheme had become mundane and they were ready to give it a major upgrade in terms of style and functions.
The preexisting kitchen space was outdated and the residents were ready for a modern upgrade that would be stylish as well as efficient. Regency began the job by removing all kitchen appliances, cabinetry, flooring, and baseboards. This was done in order to replace everything with new, premium appliances and finishes. Additional electrical wiring was installed in order to install 10 new recessed cans.
The original layout felt cramped and inefficient, with the refrigerator out of reach in the back hall and a hodge-podge of pantries and cabinets. Work areas were awkward, the dinette area was cramped, and access to the dining room difficult. Cabinets, counters and appliances were dated, counter space limited, and the whole area lacked any kind of flow.
