The Subject Property
The homeowner wanted to change the overall tone of her kitchen in order to make it seem brighter, more inviting, and updated all well increasing the functionality of the space. The challenge of this job was operating on a tight budget. In order to do this, the soffits were not removed and the team worked within the preexisting space, without making any structural changes to the layout of the kitchen. Regency removed all cabinetry and appliances in the kitchen, replaced all the tiles and countertops, and replaced all appliances for new, more fashionable appliances such as a Kitchenaid refrigerator and Kenmore stove. The flooring was to remain the same and Regency worked diligently to ensure that no damage was done to the newly resanded floors.
End Result
Based on the designs from Bruce Pinsler from Regency Home Remodeling, the kitchen was upgraded and refinished with new cabinetry from Regency, appliances from Abt, countertop sand backsplash from Daltile, the largest manufacturer of porcelain and ceramic tiles in the United States. The new, stainless steel appliances go very well with the new, crème cabinetry that feature a modest highlight glaze that couples well with the Giallo ornamental granite countertops. The new, sleek, stainless steel faucet from Kohler along with the satin double bowl sink from Elkay blend together to create a very modern feel. The kitchen was transformed into a very traditional and functional space with a very sleek design. Regency was successful in ensuring that the resident was happy with the result and will remain that way for a long time.
