The kitchen of this home was in need of a modern upgrade. The kitchen was functional in its design; however, the residents were craving a new look that would be accompanied by modern upgrades. Another goal of this project was to increase the brightness and warmth of the space by adding light fixtures, recessed cans, lighter cabinetry, and countertops. Regency removed the flooring, cabinetry and all appliances and added any necessary electrical wiring for the additional light fixtures, which would be installed above the granite counter top where extra seating would be available.

End Result

The appeal of the kitchen was dramatically changed from an outdated and mundane space to a modern and warm space with increased aesthetic appeal. The room was immediately made much brighter with the addition of six recessed cans and two hanging light fixtures from Hinkley Lighting. The preexisting wooden counter tops were replaces with a beautiful white granite countertop, which blended seamlessly with the new Rittenhouse Square backsplash from Daltile. All new stainless steel appliances were installed in order to give the kitchen a sleek appeal such as: an LG refrigerator, GE oven and microwave, and Whirlpool dishwasher. A large Kohler sink was installed with a chrome faucet as well. The end result of this dramatic change was a modern and fashionable kitchen that gives off a warm and inviting feeling to the homeowners and anyone they may entertain.
