This home is located in Park Ridge, a lovely village in Cook county only 15 miles northwest of downtown Chicago. With a population of about 37,000 people, it is clear that Park Ridge is a very appealing town to live in and an even better place to raise a family. Park Ridge has 5 different public elementary schools, 2 catholic elementary schools, and 1 Lutheran elementary school. After finishing schooling here, children will be a part of Maine Township High School District 207, which is separated into Maine South High School and Maine East High School. The one other school in this district is located in Des Plaines. Park Ridge is an ideal place to live if you are a commuter. It is located near all the major expressways and railroad transportation, while it is also a quick drive to O’hare International Airport.
The Subject Property
This Park Ridge, IL home has a great kitchen floor plan. Our customers were interested in keeping this layout while changing every other aspect of their kitchen- cabinets, floor, countertops, fixtures, and color scheme. They wanted their kitchen to be practical while also being sleek and elegant. Regency saw the customers vision and knew what had to be done. In order to give this kitchen a complete remodel, Regency would begin by tearing out the existing floor, cabinetry, necessary electrical wiring, and lighting fixtures. Our goal for this renovation was to make this kitchen a place where the family would enjoy spending their time together while also having it as modern and efficient as possible.
Regency made this kitchen go from dull and dated to elegant and tasteful. One major change you will notice right away is the new brightness in the kitchen. Not only do the new lighting fixtures and can lights give the room a great amount of light, but the new cabinets and flooring also give the kitchen a very bright look. The style of cabinets that Regency installed are Stone Gray while the flooring is Fabrique Creme Linen from Daltile. These light colored additions help make the kitchen look and feel more open and appealing.
For the countertops, our customers chose Typhoon Bordeaux, a lovely granite that contrasts nicely with the cabinets and floor tile. It also blends perfectly with the Almond backsplash that runs throughout the kitchen. The new island is much more practical and modern. With seating on both sides, the renovated island will be easier for this family to eat breakfast at before they start their day. Overall, Regency did an outstanding job on remodeling this kitchen. We were able to successfully deliver to all of our customers wishes and created a beautiful kitchen that this family will be able to enjoy for many, many years.
