The Subject Property

These bathrooms were ready for a modern upgrade. The customers were looking for a change in the style and were hoping to get more practical use out of the bathroom spaces. Regency initiated this remodel with the demolition and removal of all flooring down to the sub floor and damaged subfloor, all necessary drywall and wallboards, fixtures, and cabinetry. Then new electrical wiring was installed along the ceiling in order to install three new recessed cans in each of the bathrooms. This change was desired in order to increase the brightness of the bathrooms and create a more welcoming vibe. Overall, the owners were hoping to make some practical and stylistic changes that would make a significant difference in the appearance and convenience of the space.

End Result

In the first floor hallway bathroom, the layout of the bathroom was not changed, but the style was substantially changed. The color scheme was changed thanks to the installation of Octagon & Dot tile floors and White Gloss Largo tile walls surrounding the tub. These brighter colors really brightened up the space and were artfully contrasted by the Uptown Glass Carrara accent from Daltile surrounding the new shower area. Also, the standalone sink in this bathroom was swapped out for a vanity with cabinetry, providing added storage space and significantly more counter space.
The master bathroom was changed more significantly. One of the most notable changes in the master bathroom was the remodel of the shower area, which was replaced with a more modern, White Carrara tile floor and White Polished Carrara tile wall shower. This finish was maintained as the main floor was fitted with a Marble Hex finish from Daltile. The large, window in the shower was also converted to a much smaller, more stylish window that allows for natural light to enter the room.
Both bathrooms were equipped with new, premium appliances for added luxury. In both bathrooms, the Kohler lavatory faucets and showerheads have a very tasteful and stylish brushed nickel finish. The new bathroom spaces are sleek, elegant, and provide added comfort to the user. The customers love their new spaces and they will remain in style for a long time.
